State of Being:
Well, it’s the day before my big, 30-Day Leg Blitz.
(See yesterday's entry for details.)

...and my right knee is throbbing and my foot is numb. I guess it wasn’t as healed-up as I initially thought.

By no means am I putting the brakes on, though. I’m going to get into this, regardless.

I have previously observed and commented here about how the knee felt a little better the day after it got lots of exercise. I think working it out might actually be helping it, in the case of this particular injury. A while back, I ended up doing a lot of running around, getting errands handled and the next day, the leg felt fine. So,… I’m going to take a leap of faith here and start the blitz tomorrow with caution cast into the wind.

I will be paying very careful and close attention, day by day and adjusting the regimen to fit how I’m feeling.

This might prove tricky. Soreness is to be expected when you’re pushing yourself through tough workouts. I’ll have to pay very close attention, not only to the severity of any soreness I get, but also to the type and area.

I’m nervous, but… to tell the truth, I'm too mad right now to care.

Everything has gone wrong on this Challenge.

My first 90-Day Challenge was awesome! It was tougher than I can express in words. Easily the hardest thing that I’ve ever done. But it ended-up a huge victory for me. I lost 93 pounds!

Challenge-Two, however… began with everything going to hell. The goal for Challenge-Two is to lose 60 more pounds and to regain full upright-mobility. In other words, to be able to walk without having to sit down every two minutes.

Well, right off the bat, I got sick for over a month, I hit a weight-loss plateau regaining seven pounds and then, two-weeks-in… twisted my knee and couldn’t do any walking or leg-exercises for the first 50 of the allotted 90 days!

So, anyway… what I was saying was that, yeah, I’m nervous about jumping into this, but at this point, my anger and frustration far outweigh any timidity I’m feeling.

Yeah, I might hurt myself (read: I probably will) but, what’s life without a little risk? lol

All I have to say to my obstacles right now, is... I'm doing this. If you're going to kill me, get on with it. If not, get out of the way. I'm coming through.

I'll keep you posted.

See you tomorrow!
