State of Being:

My right leg has been killing me lately.

Specifically, it’s the outside-flank of my right thigh. It’s mostly numb, but with sporadic little sharp pains, like I’m getting stung by hornets. I know it’s because I’ve got a pinched sciatic nerve in my lower-back on that side, (which I’ve had for a while,) but my mattress is seriously exacerbating the issue. It’s old and broken down to the point that springs are poking through in a few places. The only support if offers comes from the pillows and bags of old clothing I’ve got stuffed between the mattress and the box-foundation. Since that support is so inconsistent and moves around day-by-day, my back just throbs a lot of the time.

Working on getting a new one.

See you tomorrow!
